Cail,
I understand that you have been housing one of the last within your home.
I would like to meet her.
Bring her here, to my home.
You know you cannot ignore my call.
~Vlad
Cail glared at the letter sitting on his desk. How dare he?!
Cail snarled and paced out of the room, his white hair hanging around his face, red eyes narrowed coldly. Energry rolled off him, causing the demon-maids to scurry out of his way. His long black coat swished around his ankles, he wore a black shirt underneath and faded gray jeans.
He stopped outside the girl's room, knocking breifly on her door before entering.
She was sitting up in bed, watching him as he started pacing around the room.
She didn't know what Cail was, only his name.
But Cail knew what she was. She was probably the last of her kind. A demon and angel.
And Vlad expected Cail to give that up--the one thing that Cail's brother hadn't taken from him. The one thing Cail had that Vlad didn't.
Cail had something he finally cared for.
"Cail...?" She muttered, moving from the bed. She did have wings. Cail had hidden them, but he could sense them wrapped tightly around her shoulders.
She walked toward him, her barefoot on the cold floor, her nightgown flowing around her ankles.
"Cail, what is it?" She could always tell when something was wrong with him, when he was tense.
"My brother," Cail hissed, "Lets just say that he and I... don't see eye-to-eye."
Cail turned and grabbed the girl's hand, "Come with me. I have an idea."
He led the girl from her room and toward the library.
Cail had always been better than his brother at masking them with his "Magic". And he planned on putting it to the test.
"M-Master Cail..." One of the maids muttered, holding a creased peice of paper in her hands, "T-This just came..."
"Throw it out. I know what it says," Cail murmured. So, Vlad knew what was going to happen. He knew that Cail wouldn't give her up without a fight.
"Cail..." The girl muttered.
"Don't worry, Ayame," Cail smiled to her. (O.o Ooops.... thats the name of Gay-Snake man from FruBa...), "Nothing will happen you'll see."
He led her up the the library and sat her in a chair.
"Now, Ayame, I need you to picture someone else--a girl, all right? I'm going to make you look like her."
"Cail, whats going on?"
"My brother's coming for you. Who knows why. But I need you to focus, Aya. Nothing will happen to you."
She nodded, letting the woman come to mind--too close to what Cail and Vlad's mother had looked like.
Cail did manage to improvise, changing the shape of her face, making her look more friendly than the boy's mom ever had.
Cail never did like her. Cail was cast aside while their parents doted upon Vlad, leaving Cail to his own.
One reason why Cail had killed them first. One reason why Vlad always wanted to take everything from him.
"There you go, Aya," Cail smiled at her. She went from the angelic person to more human looking--more average, "Now, Vlad wont recignize you. But, you'll have to pose as one of the maids. I'll have Cira help you. Stay with her, all right?"
"Yes, Cail."
"And, you'll also have to refer to me as Master. And sleep with the maids. I'll have to get a room ready for my brother."
He snapped his fingers, and a dozen or so of the maids came in, leaving Cail to explain. Two of the older maids offered to help Vlad around, while the younger ones, and Aya, would prepare evertything for Cail's arrival.
"OH, and Ladies," Cail smirked as the maids were about to walk out, "Don't be afriad to give him Hell. He'll be in my domain. He cannot harm you without my consent."
I understand that you have been housing one of the last within your home.
